Doves Are Plentiful in Dilley
Dove hunting is just about the most exciting form of bird hunting there is. And, dove hunting at the Harris Ranch is among the best you will find anywhere in the State of Texas.

We are under a burn ban here. No BBQing or outside fires allowed.
Dove Hunting
$80/day per hunter ($50/day per non-hunter)
$45/night lodging
$100 per hunter security deposit to enforce hunting rules.
Hunting Rules and Safety
Pick up your shells! You are responsible for cleaning up your shells as you go.
They are a health hazard for the wildlife and cattle.
It should go without saying, but drinking and guns do not play well together. Save the drinking for
the camphouse.
Hunt only in designated areas. There are parts of the farm that are not allowed. Additionally,
we have neighbors on several sides, do not cross fence-lines to go into their property!
Don't shoot a dove that is flying into another farm, because you will not be able to retrieve it.
Fishing
The pond has bass, catfish and blue gill. $25.00 a day for fishing. Bring your own tackle.
The Bunkhouse and Reservations
The original bunkhouse can comfortably sleep 12 people, in air conditioned comfort.
There are indoor kitchen and outdoor processing facilities.
Sleep where you hunt! Why drive into town when you can wake early and
be ready to hunt, right on the ranch?
There's a space for an RV with water and electric hook-up if you prefer to
bring your home with you. Rate is $20 per day.
We now have 3 camphouses. All have BBQ pits and tables.
There is a $100 security deposit on the camphouse which you will pay when you check-in,
and which will be returned after inspection. This is the same security deposit listed above
under hunting. It applies to both following the hunting rules and the property.
You need to check in before dark.
You must pay in full when you check in.
Bring your own personal items including towels. Facilities are completely furnished otherwise.
Refunds
There will be no refund if you decide to leave early from
a scheduled hunt.
We cannot control the weather and do not refund deposits or
payments made in advance for hunts. However, we will offer you a rain date
for hunting only. You would be responsible for normal charges on lodging if
you return. If all of the weekends are full, then your option might be for
a weekday instead. We will make every attempt to work out a return date for
you. Rain dates are good for that hunting season only. They cannot carry
over to the next year.
Other Wild Game
Call or email for information about deer, turkey, javelina, wild-hog, and other
game hunts. Dove and Quail are what we specialize in, but we can
most likely arrange a hunting experience for you within a 10 to 30 minute drive.
